Plot:  The story revolves around the last days of Willy Loman, a
failing salesman, who cannot understand how he failed to win
success and happiness. Through a series of tragic soul-searching
revelations of the life he has lived with his wife, his sons, and his
business associates, we discover how his quest for the "American
Dream" kept him blind to the people who truly loved him. A thrilling
work of deep and revealing beauty that remains one of the most
profound classic dramas of the American theatre.

"Any community theater company willing to take
on the emotional expanse of this play should be
congratulated and encouraged, and I, for one, do
so wholeheartedly.....
.should be required viewing of
anyone 16 years or older.
"
Tony Curulla, Syracuse.com
"It’s getting increasingly difficult to justify the term
“community theater” when describing CNY
Playhouse productions.
.....CNY Playhouse’s
impressive production of Death of a Salesman will
put you through the emotional wringer, just as
Arthur Miller had intended when he penned this
masterpiece some 65 years ago.
I’d gladly return
to Shoppingtown Mall to catch another
performance"
David Abrams, CNY Cafemomus.com
"Arthur Miller’s “Death of Salesman” is not for the
faint-hearted. .....
.First-time director Kasey McHale
has assembled a capable cast
"
-Russ Tarby, Eagle Bulletin
time director Kasey McHale, this Salesman,
running through March 22, is well thought out, runs
smoothly at a crisp pace, and includes several
bracing scenes with an assortment of well-cast
supporting players.Death of a Salesman, usually
ranked as the No. 1 American stage tragedy,
is a
tough place to start for first-time director Kasey
McHale. But it’s a tragedy that can leave her
smiling."
-James Mackillop, Syracuse Newtimes
